All information on short and long-term visas, including the list of nationalities which are exempt/required to hold a Schengen visa as well as the different types of temporary stay and residency visas, may be obtained through the Visa Portal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Portugal and the website of the Portugal Visa Application Centre of VFS Global in Singapore.
Please note that all visa requests are submitted through the Visa Application Centre of VFS Global, which also operates a Helpline for applicants, available by phone and email. Only applications from legal residents (NRIC card / Permanent Resident card / Employment Pass / Dependent Pass / Student Pass, valid for at least 6 months) will be accepted.
Should applicants require, a declaration confirming that the submission of a Certificate of Clearance (COC) issued by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Singapore Police Force or a criminal record from the country of origin (when the applicant has lived for more than one year in the Republic of Singapore) is a legal requirement to submit requests for long-term visas, residence permits and citizenship is available here.
