Recognition of translations
The Consular Section may recognise the signature of translators accredited by the Embassy of Portugal in Singapore, the list of these translators may be requested by email through the address sconsular.singapura@mne.pt.
Alternatively, the translation of the following documents may be performed by the Embassy of Portugal upon request:
From English to Portuguese
- Certificates of clearance issued by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Singapore Police Force
- Singaporean birth and marriage certificates
From Portuguese to English
- Portuguese driving licenses
- Portuguese birth and marriage certificates
- Residence certificates
The recognition of the signature of translators accredited by the Embassy of Portugal and the collection of translations performed by the Embassy of Portugal is done in person by appointment only, through the online appointment service:

Appointments are made through a single category (Atendimento Geral – Todos os serviços) and in one appoitment is possible to recognize up to two translations. Should the applicant intend to recognize more than two translations, the corresponding number of appointments must be made:
